Last night the Clinton Massie Falcons held Xenia to a meager field goal to take the win and advance to the State Semifinals.
The Falcons passing attack struggled early with Xenia’s defense showing what made them one of the best in the state. CM quarterback Billy Fairchild struggled in the first half throwing a career high 3 interceptions, and only throwing for one score. In the second half Fairchild was back to his phenom form as he threw for 4 more TD’s and brought Massie it’s second playoff victory of the season. Fairchild finished with 405 yards completing 18 of 24 passes and 5 touchdowns.
Rumor has it that scouts for Clemson, Cal, Florida State, and Hawaii were in attendence to see Fairchild’s play calling ability. It is yet to be seen if his lackluster first half performance took a hit to his scouting reputation.

Clinton Massie will go as far as Billy Fairchild will take them. They need to ride him until the end. It’s amazing that this guy has passed for over 800 yards in two games. 12 TDs, are you kidding me? :HOT:
D1 football better prepare itself for Billy-boy! If he’s smart, he’ll go to an SEC school and skip over the ACC (Clemson/Florida St), “Wack”-10 (Cal) or the lowly WAC (Hawaii).
